Ways to pay your Statement:
Online: Pay your statement online by clicking the “pay statement” button above. Have your Statement Number from your statement ready to begin. Credit card is the only accepted payment method online.
By Phone: Call the ERT Customer Service local number at 757-837-0840 or toll free at 855-ERT-ROAD for assistance. Credit card is the only payment method that customer service representatives can accept over the phone.
In Person: Visit the DriveERT Customer Service Center at 309 County St, Portsmouth, VA 23704. Walk-up counter service is available at the Customer Service Center Monday — Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. & Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Credit card, check and money orders are the only accepted payment method in person the ERT Customer Service Center.
By Mail: Checks and money orders are the only accepted payment method by mail. You may send payment through the mail to :

Some tips to help:
- Have statement information ready: Name, License Plate Number, Account Number and Statement Number from the statement.
- Pay by Plate statements are sent to the vehicle’s registered owner and to the address listed on the vehicle’s DMV registration records. Partial payments cannot be made online. Please contact the ERT Customer Service Center via the local number at 757-837-0840 or toll free at 855-378-7623 and speak to a customer service representative to make partial payment by telephone

Pay by Plate Options
There are two types of Pay by Plate customers:
Customers without an E-ZPass transponder will receive an invoice for the toll generated through license plate recognition.
Prior to an invoice being issued, the license plate will be double-checked through the E-ZPass database. If it is associated with a pre-paid account that has available funds, the toll will be deducted from that account and an invoice will not be issued.
Registered accounts allow customers to regularly manage their accounts online, to create pre-paid accounts and to possibly be eligible for future discounts.
